The Purpose of the Tigers Unlimited Foundation

The Auburn University Athletics Department is entirely self-sustaining and receives no state funds. Private contributions become more and more important in providing for our student-athletes the resources needed to put them in a situation where they can compete at the highest level and succeed in academics.

Our dependence on private support increases each year as the expenses of education and the resources necessary to maintain a quality athletics program continue to rise.

The Auburn Athletics department is liable for the educational expenses (tuition, fees, room, board, and books) in the amount of $7.1 million for our student-athletes who receive scholarships to attend Auburn University and represent the university in intercollegiate competition.

With your continued support, Tigers Unlimited, the fund-raising arm of Auburn Athletics, is able to provide a way for our talented student-athletes receive a quality education from Auburn University while ensuring AU's tradition of excellence continues to grow.

The Tigers Unlimited Foundation is committed to advancing Auburn Athletics to be the preeminent athletics program in the nation. It is through our members who are friends, alumni and advocates of the university who recognize the value of the intercollegiate athletics experience and enthusiastically participate in a variety of ways.

The Tigers Unlimited Foundation is the keystone of Auburn Athletics, and the unwavering support of its members is pertinent for the success of our student-athletes.
